A Brief Introduction :

The purpose and the goal of Islamilm is to convey Islamic knowledge to both Muslims and non-Muslims and to rectify the misconceptions about Islam among those who are unfamiliar with the faith and to invite people to understand Islam as expressed in the Qur'an and the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The importance of conveying the message of Allah has been emphasised many times in the Qur'an and Hadith.

Submission Guidelines :

1. Content: The article must be written by you and totally original, unique, well-researched and exclusive for Islamilm. Your article submitted to us cannot be republished elsewhere on the web in original or any modified form. The posts must be “AT LEAST!” 500+ words long, preferably more. Its a good idea to split your article by subheadings and into small paragraphs.
2. Images: Strongly recommended you to attach "AT LEAST!" one relevant image to make the post more appealing. Please attribute images to the owner if you don’t own them, always give full credit to the owner with a hyperlink. eg. Image courtesy: http://www.islamilm.com/madina.jpg
3. Videos: Add relevant videos to make the post more powerful as well as helpful for our readers*. You can also embed YouTube video link but make sure the videos you input are not copyrighted, unless you have the right to do so. (*optional)
4. References: Always supply citations to the contents in your article (if required) to make the article/post more authentic and to uphold intellectual honesty or to avoid plagiarism. This will also help our readers to gauge the strength and validity of the contents in your article.
5. Analyse: If you are planning to cover news that is already well known on the Internet, add thoughtful analysis to your story or explore it from an angle that other publications may have missed.

Giving You Full Credit :

If you are successful in submitting an article to us, we will give you full credit at the bottom of your post with a featured ‘Author Box*’.  Here you can include a bit of information about you (short bio) and your website, as well as links to your Blog/Website, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ profiles. Here is an example of  'Author Box', to give you an idea of how you will appear on our website if only we publish your article.

• Please add your byline (short bio) at the end of the article.
• Please add your image or a link to your image at the end of your article.
• Also add your Web URL, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ profiles links.
• * All Links are added with a rel="nofollow" attribute.
• * 'Author Box' will not appear in device with small display screen.

The Common Reasons For Rejecting Your Article :

1. Sponsored paid articles / links or affiliate links / Sponsored links / keyword links.
2. Previously published article in same/modified form on your/any other site.
3. Hidden info / Misrepresentation of facts.
4. Inappropriate / hatred / abusive language.
5. Not following our submission guidelines.
6. Too short or copyrighted content.

How to Submit Guest Article :

• HTML format is best. We also accept MS-Word (.doc / .docx) or .txt format.
• Images as attachments. If required we will crop and optimize it. Confirm source of image for credits (image url).
• Publishing Time – Article will go live ASAP (1 hour - 7 days) depending on how well you have formatted and optimized the content.

After Your Article is Published :

• Answer Comments – Readers may like to clarify issues and discuss in comments. Having the guest author answer comments add to credibility and better response.
• Promote on social media sites – After publishing your content, you can share your content to social media sites like Facebook, twitter, Digg, Google + and as many as you can.
• Post link to your blog - If you wish to post a link to your guest article on your own blog/website and inform your readers about your article, you have full liberty to self promote your articles but don't spam.
